Tub-to-Shower Conversions & Shower Replacement in Stroudsburg, PA
Stroudsburg and East Stroudsburg have a little of everything: older borough homes with small original bathrooms, ranches and split-levels out in Stroud and Smithfield Townships, and Pocono vacation and rental homes where the shower gets used hard by guests. A tub-to-shower conversion or shower replacement from 1st Addition Remodeling fits all three, because the BestBath acrylic system we install is grout-free, built for heavy use, and installed in as little as one day.

Bath and shower upgrades for Stroudsburg-area homes
- Older borough homes: Smaller bathrooms often have a 60-inch alcove tub nobody uses. Converting it to a low-threshold walk-in shower adds standing room without moving walls.
- Rental and second homes: Grout-free acrylic walls don't stain, crack or need resealing between guests, so there's less upkeep and fewer callbacks from property managers.
- Aging in place: Many Monroe County homeowners plan to stay put. Built-in seating, anchored grab bars and a handheld shower can go in during the same visit.
