Tub-to-Shower Conversions & Shower Replacement in Lehighton, PA

Many Lehighton homes are older borough houses and twins, and plenty still have the original tub, or a tub that's been patched and re-caulked one too many times. 1st Addition Remodeling replaces worn tubs and showers across Lehighton, Franklin Township and Mahoning Township with BestBath acrylic systems, usually installed in as little as one day and close to our Carbon County home base.

What Lehighton homeowners usually ask us for

• Tub-to-shower conversions: Replacing a tub you have to climb over with a low-entry shower is the most common project we do in Carbon County.
• Replacing failing tile: Older tile showers with cracked grout or soft walls get fully torn out. We take the wet area down to the studs, check for damage, and install a sealed, grout-free system. We don't cover the old wall over.
• Safer bathrooms for parents and grandparents: Seats, grab bars and slip-resistant bases are added during the install, so there's no second project later.

Services we offer in Lehighton

• Tub-to-shower conversions: replace an unused tub with a low-entry walk-in shower
• Shower replacement: remove old tile or fiberglass and install a grout-free BestBath system
• Accessible and curbless showers: low or zero thresholds, seating and grab bars
• Tub and shower combo replacement, for family baths that still need a tub
